The Drak Pack

In this week’s episode, the TV I selected for Gomez to watch was a little-known series from the early 80s called “The Drak Pack”. It was based around three teenagers (Drak, Frankie and Howler) who were the descendents of Dracula, Frankenstein and The Wolf Man. The whole premise is that they’re regular teens until a situation with their arch nemesis, the villainous Dr. Dred, arises and then they transform (or “Drak Whack”…yeah, I have no idea why they call it that, but, ya know…) into monsters to put an end to Dred’s shenanigans.

We spoke about it on this week’s podcast and – for some reference – have included a couple of episodes here if you’re interested to check it out.

The series was limited to 16 episodes and most of them can be found in pretty good quality on YouTube from the same user. It’s not the best thing you’ll ever watch, but if you’re a fan of the monsters characters, it’s a new interpretation to check out.
